School Gardening Programs are popping up all around the country; and it's no reason why. If we can start to develop gardening skills in children at a young age, then we will raise a new generation of growers.

An innocent child may state that vegetables come from grocery stores; and while that may be true, that isn't where they originated. We need to teach children at a young age about the importance of agriculture and how it goes from seed to plant; and plant to plate.

This is where school gardens come into play. If schools have the land and resources to build a small fruit garden or veggie garden, then they can have kids plant, grow, and know!

School gardeners that require deer fencing to protect their landscape can call Deerbusters at 888-422-3337 for special discounted rates.
