While summer was all about growing fruits, fall is about growing vegetables that can tolerate the cooler temperatures. When we think about fall gardening, we can't help but think about all of the delicious veggies that can be grown for salads and side dishes including:

  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Radishes
  • Legumes: Lettuce, Kale, Collard Greens
  • Broccoli
  • Beans
  • Peas
  • Beets
  • Spinach
  • Mustard
  • Onion

In addition to these fall vegetables to plant, garlic and other herbs can be planted in October.

Fall is a great time of year to get outside and grow!
