Installing fence posts can be quite time consuming for homeowners with small and large plots of land. To expedite the process of installing fence posts, homeowners and fence installers choose to use post drivers to help easily drive posts, stakes and rods into smooth soils.

Post drivers are lightweight, at just 28-35 pounds and generally gas-powered using a 4-stroke engine and powered by 1.3 horsepower. While gas powered post drivers are used to install posts, they do not work to install ground sleeves - the first step in the installation process.

For those with large plots of land, consider expediting the process with a gas powered post driver.
