It is important that the bottom edge of your garden fence is staked to the ground to prevent white-tailed deer and smaller critters from digging underneath fences and getting into gardens. These 5 gauge 12" kinked ground stakes are best used for average soils, and feature a kinked design that will make any attempt to pull it out of the ground difficult. For best results, use one 12" metal fence stakes every 5 feet. 

Each ground stake is made of durable galvanized steel, and have a 1" J hook that will hold the bottom edge of the fence. When driven completely into the ground, these metal ground stakes will not protrude or pose a hazard to pets or people walking near the fence line. 

These ground stakes can also be used for many other applications. They work well as a tent stake and for staking support lines to the ground.
